Harmony University is a yearly event where many people gather to experience barbershop music education at its best.


History

Harmony University opened its doors in the early 1970’s as Harmony College and for over 30 years it has been the premier educational event for the Barbershop Harmony Society. Barbershoppers of all experience levels attend - new members, seasoned members, young members, directors, assistant directors, quartet singers, music educators, administrators, and many more. Faculty/instructors have included the likes of Lou Perry, Joe Liles, Dave Stevens, Jim Henry, David Wright, Val Hicks, Ed Waesche, Freddie King, Lloyd Steinkamp, Mel Knight, Mac Huff, to name but a few.
