Category talk:Quartets
Subdividing
Once this wiki really takes off, I can see this page getting large and unwieldy. I propose a hierarchy of categories for quartets. Put yours in every level that applies. I've already started on one-of-each as a proof of concept. A similar thing will work for choruses, but there are fewer of them, and they last longer.
Comments? Name changes? We can explain the AIC, Queens of Harmony, Harmony Queens, etc on the proper page(s). I think a generic structure will best help newcomers find who they're looking for.

Pigeonholing
Once a quartet is in "Category:<District> Quartets", should it be removed from Category:<District>? I feel that the "root" District categories should be reserved for District-level info (Geography, History, etc) or organizations (Hall of Fame, Champions Associations, etc). Individual quartets don't really qualify. One extra click into the clearly-named "Category:<Dist> Quartets" shouldn't prove an excess burden on newbs. Discussion? --Paks Paladin 07:15, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
What about multi-District quartets--list in both? Quartets that "move"? Names which have lapsed and been re-used? --Paks Paladin 07:15, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
