Gold Coast Harmony, also known as Pivotal Point Harmony, is the home of a number of Barbershop choruses and quartets based in the Gold Coast, Australia. The list of choruses are listed below.

The club is the chapter home for the 2019 and 2022 BHA Quartet champions The Collective, BHA Youth Quartet champions Overcast, and BHA Seniors quartet Benchmark.

Mixed Vocal Project

The Mixed Vocal Project is a mixed barbershop chorus founded in 2022 in response to Barbershop Harmony Australia allowing women to become full members. Their director is Kelly Shepard (from Metropolis and The Collective). The chorus first performed in 2022.

Sound Connection

Sound Connection

Founded in May 2012, Sound Connection was a chorus which won the BHA chorus Gold Medal three times (2015, 2017 & 2019) in their relatively short history. They have additionally represented the BHA once at the BHS international convention in 2017.

Directed by Andrew Howson, Sound Connection had strived to be a premier barbershop chorus which works towards excellence. The culture produced a number of high-quality barbershop quartets.

The chorus was folded into their clubs new mixed chorus, Mixed Vocal Project in 2024.

History

Founded in May 2012 primarily of members from the largest chorus in the region, the Blenders. Andrew Howson had been the director until 2020, where the role was handed to Kelly Shepard until it folded.
