Sound Connection
Based on the Gold Coast, Queensland in May 2012, Sound Connection is a chorus which has won the BHA chorus Gold Medal three times (2015, 2017 & 2019) in their relatively short history. They have additionally represented the BHA once at the BHS international convention in 2017.
Directed by Andrew Howson, Sound Connection has strived to be a premier barbershop chorus which works towards excellence. This culture has produced a number of high-quality barbershop quartets. They are the chapter home for the current 2019 BHA Quartet champions the Collective.
History
Founded in May 2012 primarily of members from the largest chorus in the region, the Blenders. Andrew Howson has been the director at the helm for the entirety of their existence.
