I am a vinyl preservationist and got the barbershop bug after finding Center Stage's album in a Salvation Army for $1. At the time, I had no idea what the album was which I held in my hands, but it called out to me and I had to have it.
I've had that impulse before but it never paid off as well as it did in this case.
I had already been a contributing member [1] to the discogs.com database but since my barbershop discovery I have poured hours and hours into researching releases and adding them there. My physical barbershop vinyl collection is more than respectable and continues to grow almost daily.
I joined barbershopwiki.com to continue to cross some of the info I have unearthed from discogs to here (I have long used this site as a resource in assisting me over at discogs).
