Curt Angel
Curt Angel (born 1961) is a successful barbershop quartet lead singer, chorus director, music educator and clinician for various vocal groups.
Curt has five championship district titles to his credit.
The first with the "Rockerfellers", SWD 1989 Champions and twice international representatives with Frank Freidman Tenor, Brian Hogan Bari, and Doug Crowl Bass. The very next year with the "Tulsa Tradition" in New Orleans, 1990 earned Curt his second championship with Tim Ambrose Tenor, Don Connor Bari, And Doug Crowl Bass. The Tulsa Tradition are four time international finalist and ten time SPEBSQSA International representatives. In Little Rock, 1997 Tim Ambrose Tenor, Jeff Veteto Bari, and Brian Telle formed Curt's widely traversed Third Champion Quartet the "Tradition" and International Quarterfinalist that same year. The "Noise Boys" begun another long distance relationship in 2001 and captured the Central States District crown In Topeka. The Noise Boys competed on the international stage until Montreal, 2011. Meanwhile back in Tulsa, Curt also teamed up with one of mentors Ed wright Bari, Kent Cornwell Tenor, and Darrell Davis Bass, in a hometown quartet known as the "Cooligans" The quartet was fortunate enough to win the Coveted SWD title in 2003 at Corpus Christi and to represent the SWD at Louisville the next year.
