- In 2017 the Ontario District introduced a mixed quartet contest at the spring district convention. This contest is sanctioned by the Mixed Barbershop Harmony Association (MBHA). In order to compete in this contest, the quartet and all of its members had to be members of MBHA. Scores for the mixed quartet contest are submitted for possible selection to compete in the World Mixed Quartet Contest.
