I don't understand the name used here 'Galatones' - I have some pretty definitive evidence that the name was 'The Gaytones'.

See "External Links". Once upon a time, the SAI website had a separate page for each set of Queens. Nearly all of my SAI Champion info came from these pages, which apparently no longer exist. I guess those all went away after the site redesign? They were hard enough to find in the first place.
The Coronet Club's website says Galatones [1], but your pics do seem pretty conclusive. Maybe there was a name change before or since?
I have no direct contact with any SAI staff or historians who may know exactly what happened. Let's leave the page name and this discussion in place for now, and see if we can get someone with a more complete story to weigh in.
